If you are booking your Taxi for collection from the airport you must include your flight number and where your flight originates from, this ensures your taxi and transfer will pick you up on time even if your are delayed. You will be given a direct number for your taxi driver who will direct you towards your meeting point for your airport transfer. If from Bristol Airport the Rapid Pick Up Car Park is our usual taxi pick up point which is very easy to find as you exit the arrivals hall at Bristol Airport although the pick up point for your taxi is approx 50 meters from the main Bristol Airport Terminal, if you have a trouble walking we may be able to have your taxi pick you up from directly in front of Bristol Airport Arrivals. Taxis booked from Stansted Airport will be directed towards the Bus Station Terminal at Stansted Airport and wait for your taxi driver to meet you by Bay Number 28. Taxis booked from Gatwick Airport should wait for their taxi driver on the upper level drop off point for departures, we use the departure drop off point so you do not incur any additional car parking charges.

Quotes

All taxi quotes are approximate unless specific Post Codes are supplied for your taxi journey and are dependent upon the information you supply when you fill out your taxi quote request. Taxi Quotes are only valid for 24 hours and must be booked within this time to guarantee the quoted fare.

Booking

It is your responsibility to ensure that all relevant details are filled in correctly in the taxi booking form. Taxi Bookings made less than 5 days prior to travelling will require payment in full via Google Checkout. Taxi bookings made more than 5 days in advance will require a deposit of 25%. By typing your name and ticking the terms and conditions acceptance box your are signing to accept these terms. Please note at busy times we may use a approved third party company for your journey.

Cancellations and amendments

Taxi bookings cancelled will lose their deposit, however if payment has been made in full and at least 48 hours notice given will be subject to a discretionary refund. Amendments and changes of booking date or time maybe subject to an additional charge. Please note that in any case if you have booked a taxi with onthemeter taxis and agreed to our term and conditions at the bottom of our booking form, that if you do not provide adequate warning for cancellation or change of details you may be held liable for the full amount of your booking.

Debit and Credit Card Payments for your Taxi Journey

Credit and Debit Card payments for your taxi journey through Google Checkout are liable to a 3.5% Handling Charge. The minimum taxi fare for a debit or credit card payment is £25. Deposits for your taxi journey are not refundable however full advance payments are discretionary depending on how much notice is given of cancellation.

Extra Charges

Waiting time from private a address is free for 15 minutes and then £5 per 10 minutes or part thereafter, for pick-ups from Airports waiting time is free for the first 1 hour after the plane has landed and then £5 per 10 minutes or part thereafter. Parking charges are included up to £5.00 any further charges are to be paid in cash to the driver at the time of collection.

Delays and Travel time

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have booked your Taxi to arrive at an appropriate time. We are happy to give you an estimate journey time on booking your taxi. No responsibility will be held by EZ Taxi or Onthemeter Taxis for missed connections liability for missed meetings or any other loss due to lateness or delays caused by weather, acts of god or breakdowns.
